Hermès 'Into the Horsescape' high jewellery collection reimagines equestrian roots

Hermès has unveiled 'Into the Horsescape', a new high jewellery collection by creative director Pierre Hardy that subtly suggests the horse rather than depicting it literally. The collection includes pieces inspired by lassos, horseshoes, and saddles, crafted from diamonds, black titanium, and jade. Hardy explains he avoids literal representation to tell Hermès' story through transformation of mundane items into adornments. The collection features baguette diamond lasso necklaces, a black titanium bracelet with an 18th-century miniature saddle, and a minimalist necklace and ring with black jade hoof arches. Iron nails from horseshoes become diamond necklace spikes. Hermès was founded in 1837 as a harness workshop by Thierry Hermès.
