Henry Moore and Lynn Chadwick Outdoor Sculpture Shows in England This Summer
This summer, England hosts several outdoor sculpture exhibitions within easy reach of London. At the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, "Henry Moore: Monumental Nature" features 30 large-scale sculptures including "Double Oval" (1966), placed along a tree-lined pathway. The show runs through Jan. 31. At Houghton Hall in Norfolk, an exhibition presents some 30 works by Lynn Chadwick, including "Sitting Couple on a Bench." The Treasure House Fair, running June 25–30 in London, offers smaller indoor works by these sculptors on dealers' booths. Richard Green gallery brings small-scale Moore bronzes, while Osborne Samuel Gallery shows Chadwick's "Sitting Figures in Robes I."
