Henning Larsen has unveiled plans for an ambitious mixed-use development at the Toronto Rail Yards, situated over a functional railyard in the Fashion District. Covering six acres between Spadina Avenue and Bathurst Street, the project will provide 4,000 residential units, two childcare facilities, and nearly 915,000 square feet designated for office use, alongside 50,000 square feet for retail. Residents will benefit from access to the upcoming Spadina-Front GO Station, also designed by the firm. Supported by Fengate Asset Management and the LiUNA Pension Fund, preparations are set to begin in 2028, with construction phased to reduce disturbances.
