Hegren, a Norwegian brand, has introduced the Knekt floor lamp, highlighting its commitment to local manufacturing, ease of repair, and straightforward design. Tailored for modern interiors, it offers adjustable directional lighting. The lampshade is crafted from a single sheet of locally sourced aluminium, complemented by an aluminium arm and body. Prioritizing durability, Knekt incorporates standard parts for effortless replacement. It features an E27 socket for bulb changes, an off-switch located in the lamp head, and arrives flat-packed for tool-free assembly. Founder Henrik Grevstad remarked that the lamp's open design boosts both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Available in black anodised or raw aluminium, it measures 470 x 470 mm and adjusts in height from 840 to 1200 mm. The lamp was showcased through Dezeen Showroom.
