HCCH Studio Completes West Bund Dream Center BLDG1 and BLDG3 in Shanghai

The West Bund Dream Center, located by the Huangpu River in Shanghai, has recently finished BLDG1 and BLDG3, thanks to HCCH Studio. This cultural and commercial space, built on the old Shanghai Cement Factory grounds, took a decade to complete and blends historical industrial aspects with contemporary lifestyle elements. It covers an area of 20,923 square meters on Longteng Avenue. The HCCH team, including Hao Chen and his colleagues, played a key role in its design, with support from the Shanghai Institute of Architectural Design and Research Co., Ltd. JCFO and Shanghai Tianhua Architectural Design Co., Ltd. handled the landscape design, while AECOM provided façade consulting. The developers are Shanghai Dream Center Creative Culture Development Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Jiazhi'an Culture Development Co., Ltd., with photography by Fangfang Tian and Guowei Liu. This project is categorized as mixed-use and commercial architecture.
