HAY and Jasper Morrison Launch Outdoor Market Collection

Danish brand HAY has collaborated with designer Jasper Morrison to launch Outdoor Market, a collection of over 30 pieces of furniture, accessories, and tools reinterpreting traditional camping aesthetics for everyday outdoor living. The range includes folding furniture (Folding Chair, Folding Sofa, Folding Stool, Folding Table) in water-lacquered beech with carrying bags, a Hammock, a Canopy textile shelter, stainless steel BBQ and Fire Pit, utensils, cooler bags, storage containers, tableware, insulated mugs, and picnic accessories. Materials include water-lacquered beech, stainless steel, and 100% recycled polyester. Notable details include handcrafted brooms by Japanese artisans and striped patterns inspired by traditional Basque fabrics from a vintage textile found at a flea market, woven from recycled polyester. The collection aims to embody democratic design, making quality outdoor products accessible. HAY founders Mette and Rolf Hay initiated the project, seeking to extend their design philosophy outdoors. Jasper Morrison, known for his restrained design language, was chosen for his ability to make ordinary objects essential. The collection is designed to be portable, practical, and durable, suitable for gardens, beaches, parks, and other settings.
