Hauser & Wirth Partner Launches Independent Artist Management Agency

Cristopher Canizares, a longtime partner at Hauser & Wirth, is departing the gallery after 16 years to establish Artist Legacy Bureau, a new artist management agency. He will leave at the end of May to focus on long-term career strategy for a select group of five to six artists, including Rashid Johnson. The venture operates independently without financial ties to Hauser & Wirth, aiming to complement rather than compete with existing gallery systems.
