Hannah Mullin and Sean McConnell Wed at Castle Hill Inn, Newport, with Surprise Norah Jones Performance

Hannah Mullin and Sean McConnell, childhood friends from Delaware who dated for nine years, exchanged vows at Castle Hill Inn in Newport, Rhode Island, on a June day in 2024, after Sean proposed at Rock House in Turks and Caicos on June 3, 2024. Their two-day festivities kicked off with a rehearsal dinner and welcome gathering at the Tennis Hall of Fame, featuring a unique merch suite named "Winston's Merch Store" after their corgi, along with tennis-themed decorations and a lounge cabana. Wedding planner Sarah Heaney from Leila James Events coordinated the event, with floral arrangements by Stoneblossom and custom illustrations by Champagne and Ink. The bride donned a lace corset top with a full skirt by Sept, later changing into a mini skirt and a Monique Lhuillier gown for the dinner, while the groom sported a tailored baby blue Brioni suit and a cream jacket tuxedo by Ralph Lauren Purple Label. Guests were treated to a surprise performance by Norah Jones on a custom circular stage adorned with a three-tier floral display, where she sang "Come Away With Me" for the couple's first dance, along with "Don't Know Why," "Those Sweet Words," "Sunrise," and "What Am I to You?" The five-tier cake was crafted by Confectionery Designs, with The Eleven entertaining on the dance floor. The couple's recessional featured "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
