Hana Hillerová on Motherhood, Glass, and Moving from Texas to Prague
Czech artist Hana Hillerová, known for her innovative glass creations, resides in Prague with her husband and three children. After a successful career in printmaking at the University of Texas at Austin, she has shifted her focus to glass art, learning from experienced artists Charlie Parriott and Martin Janecký. Hillerová's work is currently showcased at Galeria Rossana Orlandi in Milan, and she will present a solo exhibition at Traver Gallery in Seattle in May 2026. Recently awarded the Discovery of the Year in Product Design by the Czech Academy of Design, she will participate in Biennial Homo Faber 2026 in Venice.
