Halo Paris Hosts "Table Manners," an Exhibition Staged During Restaurant Service

exhibition · 2026-10-21

From October 20 to 24, 2026, "Table Manners," a group exhibition curated by Sophie de Mello Franco, will be showcased at Halo Paris during lunch and dinner hours, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. The exhibition delves into themes of table manners, food supply chains, and the labor involved in delivery. De Mello Franco, a French-Brazilian curator who leads ORFEO0112 and has previously collaborated with Gagosian, draws inspiration from Daniel Spoerri's 1968 work, "Restaurant Spoerri." A highlight is a new piece by Canadian artist Adam Harrison in collaboration with Chef Dom Lee, encouraging diners to partake in unconventional discussions with each course. Additionally, the exhibition includes Cory Arcangel's "Pizza Party" (2004) and Allan Weber's "Tamo junto não é gorjeta," which examine the intricacies of meal preparation and service.
