Gustaf Westman's IKEA-style rooms debut at Selfridges pop-up

Swedish designer Gustaf Westman has created a pop-up shop at Selfridges in London, featuring IKEA-style room settings that showcase both new and existing homewares. The pop-up, located in the Selfridges Corner Shop, runs for one month from 29 June. Westman designed specifically British-themed products for the occasion, including a tea strainer, a fish-and-chips holder, and tartan-print sofas—his first use of patterned fabric. The spaces include a living room, kitchen, and a pink sticker-covered bedroom, arranged to encourage visitors to walk around rather than attach items to walls. Westman cited his strong UK following and London's design heritage as reasons for choosing Selfridges.
