Guggenheim Bilbao Hosts Family Creativity Lab 'Cuando el color se mueve'
The Museo Guggenheim Bilbao will stage a creativity laboratory titled 'Cuando el color se mueve', a workshop for children aged 6 to 10 built around the creative process of artist Igshaan Adams. Led by Mónica Rodríguez-Curiel, the sessions invite young participants to discover that colours are not only seen but also felt and set in motion. Using the body, sound and play, children will examine how a single colour can convey calm, energy or power depending on the accompanying gesture or movement, asking whether a blue can be as soft as a breeze or as fast as a current of water. The experience culminates in each child producing a work in which lines, rhythms and colours record the movement of their own body, after which the group assembles a collective gallery for observing, comparing and discovering how every person has brought colours to life in a unique way. The workshop runs on Saturdays 3 and 10 October and Sunday 1 November 2026 at 17:00. Tickets cost 7 euros for the general public and 5 euros for Amigos del Museo, available via the Museo Guggenheim Bilbao website and at the box office.
