Greg Keffer Launches Independent Architecture and Design Studio

Architect and designer Greg Keffer has launched Keffer Studio, an independent architecture and interior design practice specializing in luxury hospitality. Announced in mid-May, the studio marks Keffer's transition after 14 years at Rockwell Group, where he served as partner. With over three decades of experience, Keffer has worked on hotels, restaurants, and branded residences, including 550 Madison and W New York – Union Square. As founder and creative director, he emphasizes hands-on involvement, stating, "Great design happens when the principal is in the room." Keffer Studio is intentionally boutique, focusing on a curated portfolio where Keffer is directly involved in every decision. His approach prioritizes narrative development rooted in place, emotional intention, and specificity over a consistent visual signature. Keffer's expertise spans luxury hotels, destination resorts, signature restaurants, branded residences, and amenity spaces. He seeks clients who value deep collaboration and ambition to create genuinely new work.
