GrandPalaisRmn Launches "Grand Angle": Free Turnkey Photo Exhibitions for 200 Years of Photography

• GrandPalaisRmn and the Médiathèque du patrimoine et de la photographie (MPP) launched "Grand angle" to celebrate 200 years of photography.
• The program provides free, turnkey photographic exhibitions to public institutions in France and abroad, including libraries, French institutes, and tourist offices.
• Partners choose from eleven themes, each comprising 40 photographs, and receive high-definition files, educational panels, and a communication kit.
• Exhibition rights are covered by the Ministry of Culture within its allocated budget; partners handle printing and installation.
• Images come from MPP collections and the GrandPalaisRmn photographic agency, with photographers such as Nadar, André Kertész, Gilles Caron, Dolorès Marat, Gérard Uféras, Willy Ronis, Hans Silvester, and Bernard Descamps.
• Themes include "Nadar, Harcourt, Lévin: l'âge d'or des studios parisiens," "Willy Ronis," "50 ans de photographies de guerre – 1965–2015," "Ruralités," "Cirques et fêtes foraines," "Comme des bêtes," "Couleurs Méditerranée," "La Danse," "Les yeux dans les Jeux," "Jeunes générations," and "L'art de photographier l'art."
• Two themes were developed with Cnap, the International Olympic Committee, and Fisheye.
• The program is open until September 2027 and has already scheduled exhibitions at the municipal library of Châtel-Saint-Germain (Moselle), the Institut français de Grèce (Athens), and the Alliance française in Montreal and Raleigh, North Carolina.
