Gochang Hwang Yunseok Library by Hyunjoon Yoo + Partners
The Gochang Hwang Yunseok Library officially opened in Gochang-gun, South Korea, in 2025, embodying the innovative concepts of Hyunjoon Yoo + Partners. Spanning 3,814 square meters, the library was curated by Miwa Negoro and features stunning photography by Kyung Roh. The design team was led by principal architect Hyunjoon Yoo alongside others including Aekyung Kwon and Eunsuk Noh. Engineering roles included structural work by DHSC and civil engineering by SIWON E&C, with HANA Consulting Engineers overseeing the mechanical and electrical aspects. Construction was managed by Shinwoo. The library aims to foster community interaction and creativity in the digital age.
