Giuseppe Di Liberto's 'Per sempre, fino alla fine' at Ca' Pesaro

Giuseppe Di Liberto (Palermo, 1998) presents 'Per sempre, fino alla fine' at Ca' Pesaro's project room in Venice, curated by Marta Cereda and Giulia Mariachiara Galiano. The installation features concrete slabs on the floor, periodically misted with water to reveal a hidden hydrorepellent drawing that fades as it dries. A fragrance by Alessandra Avanzi with charcoal and burnt wood notes accompanies the piece. The work explores the concept of apocalypse as revelation, drawing from medieval miniatures, nihilist memes, TikTok frames, and religious iconography. It references philosopher Federico Campagna's ideas on plural apocalypses and cyclical creation and destruction. The exhibition runs until September 6, 2026.
