Giulia Mangoni's Solo Show 'Stratigrafie del Vivente' Takes Over MAC Lissone
The MAC – Museo d'arte contemporanea di Lissone, which will mark its 25th anniversary in 2025, is currently showcasing a solo exhibition by Italian-Brazilian artist Giulia Mangoni, entitled 'Stratigrafie del Vivente', running until September 27, 2026. Born in Isola del Liri in 1991 and the recipient of the Premio Lissone in 2021, Mangoni’s exhibition features a complex arrangement that utilizes the entire museum space. Her site-specific murals and artworks, such as 'Composite Pecore Quadricorna' (2023), 'Un cardo' (2025), and 'Tramonto con galline' (2024), merge Italian scenery with vibrant South American hues. The exhibition is curated by Stefano Raimondi and is located at MAC, Viale Elisa Ancona, 6, Lissone.
