Gingko Lounge Chair by Anne-mette Bartholin and Morten Ernst Relaunched for Cozmo

architecture-design · 2026-09-16

Danish designers Anne-mette Bartholin and Morten Ernst have reimagined their Gingko lounge chair for Cozmo, which was presented on Dezeen Showroom. Initially created by Weber Furniture in the early 2000s, Bartholin spent two years refining the chair, emphasizing its proportions, construction, and comfort. The chair, named for its ginkgo leaf-like shape, boasts a molded plywood seat shell available in oak or walnut, supported by a slender tubular steel frame with three legs. A cushioned upholstery enhances its lightweight, stackable nature. Bartholin describes the design as both simple and expressive, promoting relaxation. The chair was featured on Dezeen Showroom on 16 September 2026, providing a platform for brands to unveil new products. For inquiries, contact Cozmo at hello@mycozmo.com.
