Gilbert & George team up with street artist Endless for new exhibition
Gilbert & George, the British art duo known for their provocative work, have opened a new exhibition at the Gilbert & George Centre in London, reworking their 1990 'Worlds and Windows' series. The show features posthumous portraits of George Crompton, a homeless man who frequented their studio. The duo have also formed an unlikely friendship with street artist Endless, who first caught their attention with a piece on a nearby wall in 2015. Endless now visits them weekly, sparking rumors of a legacy handover. The exhibition runs until 2027 and is free to the public, aligning with the duo's 'Art for All' ethos. Endless is also showing 'Endless X London' at Cris Contini Contemporary until 25 July.
