Gibson Karlo Launches All-Metal Twill Chair for Design By Them
Gibson Karlo, an Australian design studio, has launched an all-metal version of its Twill chair for Design By Them, maintaining that unique look reminiscent of plasticine. Originally made from wood and debuted in 2022, this updated chair is now entirely aluminum and features a hand-burnished finish that ages beautifully. It keeps the stackable design of the original wooden model and is made with at least 30% recycled aluminum in a solar-powered facility, complete with a five-year warranty. For extra comfort, there’s an optional seat pad. You can choose from colors like burnished aluminum, chocolate brown, rust red, black, silk grey, pale eucalypt, and soft white. The chair measures 546 x 496 x 711 mm, with a seat height of 440 mm, and is available in the Dezeen Showroom.
