Gianfranco Meggiato's 'EVERMORE | AURUM IN AERE' at BVLGARI Florence

During Pitti Uomo 2026, the BVLGARI boutique in Florence hosts a solo exhibition of Venetian sculptor Gianfranco Meggiato, titled 'EVERMORE | AURUM IN AERE', from June 17 to July 4, 2026. Meggiato, born in Venice in 1963, practices what he calls 'introscultura', conceiving form as a gateway to an inner dimension. His works, often monumental and placed in public spaces, explore the tension between visible and invisible, density of matter and energy. In 2017, he received the ICOMOS-UNESCO Prize for blending contemporary language with historical memory. The exhibition features polished bronze sculptures with gold inserts, including spherical forms that symbolize inner treasure and life's intertwined paths. The title 'Evermore' alludes to timelessness, while 'Aurum in Aere' (Latin for 'gold in bronze') suggests hidden preciousness within the material. The boutique becomes a resonant chamber where sculpture dialogues with the concept of preciousness cultivated by the Roman maison. The exhibition is curated by Caterina Angelucci and is located at Via de' Tornabuoni, 56/r, Florence.
