Georges Batzios Architects' Resort Beach Club in Peloponnese Features Stepped Stone Volumes and Lagoon-Like Pool
Georges Batzios Architects has finalized the Resort Beach Club in Peloponnese, Greece, situated at the southwestern corner of a development near a marina. The design consists of a series of natural stone structures linked by outdoor areas, wooden pergolas, and water features, inspired by the characteristics of local waterfront communities and a nearby fishing bay. The layout includes two separate pavilions, each around 300 sqm: the eastern pavilion features a restaurant and service areas, while the western pavilion accommodates a bar, marina management offices, retail spaces, and restrooms. A central swimming pool, designed to resemble a natural lagoon, includes underwater terraces at depths of -0.20 m, -0.40 m, -0.80 m, and -1.40 m. This project offers a modern take on the Peloponnese waterfront, blending hospitality, leisure, and marina activities.
