GENS Completes 300 m² Library at the Edge of Velaines Along a State Road
GENS designed a 300 m² library completed in 2024 on the outskirts of Velaines, positioned along the state highway. The project team was led by GENS, with Bizzari-Rodriguez / Bet2c serving as collaborator. Nina Vuga curated the presentation of the scheme, and Ludmilla Cerveny photographed it. According to the description submitted by the project team, the library sits at the boundary of the village, a siting that creates a source of nuisance while simultaneously guaranteeing accessibility and ideal visibility for the facility. The scheme is classified under mixed-use architecture, cultural architecture, and libraries. The published documentation lists the project area at 300 m² and the year of the architectural project as 2024.
