Gener8ion's 'Visions of 2034' Exhibition Opens at 180 Studios London

Gener8ion, the collaborative project of filmmaker Romain Gavras and musician Surkin, presents 'Visions of 2034' at 180 Studios in London from 12 June to 31 July. The exhibition features films originally created as commissioned music videos, including the viral 'Storm' (over 14 million YouTube views since April) and a new installation with Charlize Theron shot in 2018 but only now revealed. 'Storm' stars Swedish rapper Yung Lean as a teenage bully in a Leeds school, with choreography by Damien Jalet. The exhibition also includes a different version of the 'Storm' video exclusive to the physical space. Gener8ion's debut album 'Love & Tears' releases the same day as the exhibition opening. Gavras describes the project as exploring the near future through 'transversal, sideways things' rather than AI/robot clichés. The exhibition runs Wednesday–Sunday, 12 noon–7pm, tickets £15.
