Genaro Rivas Debuts A Shard Reborn at London Fashion Week
During London Fashion Week, Genaro Rivas unveiled his Spring/Summer 2027 collection, titled A Shard Reborn, at 30 Knightsbridge. This collection creatively transforms second-hand garments obtained from eBay through a process of deconstruction and reassembly. Notable items include menswear featuring black sleeveless tailoring adorned with oversized silver eyelets, alongside a striking womenswear gown crafted from smoky-grey tulle and enhanced with a blood-red plexiglass design. The materials utilized comprise tulle, plexiglass, and aluminium, with the final presentation developed in collaboration with Maya Heritage and Phill Welch. Rivas remarked, "I was interested in what happens after something breaks." Backstage photography was captured by Lewis Robert Cameron, with creative direction by Rivas and contributions from various artists and brands, alongside special acknowledgments to 30 Knightsbridge and others.
