Gantri Launches First Wireless Lighting Collection with Ammunition
Gantri, a lighting manufacturer based in California, has introduced its inaugural cord-free range called Gantri Wireless, created in collaboration with design studio Ammunition. This initial collection includes three series—Drift, Pier, and Eave—drawing inspiration from the coastal lifestyle of California. Drift captures the essence of smooth stones and calm waters, Pier features a graphic, modular design reminiscent of boardwalks, while Eave showcases architectural elements influenced by San Francisco. Each series is offered in five new colors: Spruce, Manzanita, Lilac, Magnolia, and Lichen. Utilizing Gantri Helia technology, these lights deliver up to 1000 lumens, a 90+ CRI, and a battery life of up to 16 hours, along with Smart Home compatibility. The charging method employs a fog-finished puck instead of a standard cord. Ian Yang, Gantri's founder and CEO, mentioned that the wireless lighting project had been in the works for years, with previous iterations set aside due to design criteria. The partnership with Ammunition commenced in 2020, focusing on the Gio and Carve collections. Gantri's digital manufacturing process utilizes PlantPolymers derived from sugarcane and produces items on demand at its factory in the Bay Area.
