Gantri Launches First Wireless Lighting Collection at NYCxDesign

California design brand Gantri celebrated its tenth anniversary by unveiling its first wireless lighting collection during NYCxDesign at the TIWA gallery in New York. The collection was developed in collaboration with San Francisco studio Ammunition, winner of the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award. The ten models are organized into three families: Drift, Pier, and Eave, each rooted in California aesthetics. Drift features soft, tapered volumes inspired by water-polished stones; Pier uses intersecting planes reminiscent of coastal structures; and Eave references Craftsman bungalow porches and Victorian cornices. Five colorways—Spruce, Manzanita, Lilac, Magnolia, and Lichen—are drawn from the West Coast landscape. The lamp housings are made from PlantPolymers, non-GMO sugarcane-derived polymers processed digitally, offering warm, matte surfaces that absorb light. The collection aims to bring portable California design culture into homes without sacrificing formal quality.
