GANKO Designs FEAT., a Dual-Level Cocktail Bar and Subterranean Club in Milan's Barona District

GANKO has designed FEAT., a dual-natured venue in Milan's Barona district that combines a street-level cocktail bar with a hidden subterranean club. The project integrates two distinct atmospheres through concealed sliding doors and mirrored surfaces, creating fluid transitions between spaces. At street level, an eight-meter burl wood and steel counter anchors a linear bar with integrated benches, while mirrored shelving expands the narrow footprint. The basement club features a fully programmable RGB ceiling and movable black furniture, allowing transformation from lounge to immersive environment. Material contrasts include burl wood, leather, perforated steel, and smoked mirrors, blending domestic warmth with industrial precision. Operational elements include a compact ground-floor kitchen and a larger basement "dark kitchen" to maintain aesthetic purity. FEAT. positions itself within Milan's evolving nightlife, challenging the contemplative listening bar trend with high-octane experiences, echoing global venues like Oven Club in Valencia and Cateto Club in Marbella. The project contributes to decentralized social hubs in Milan, embracing the area's industrial heritage with gritty elegance.
