Galerie de l'Europe Showcases Sixteen Painters and One Sculptor in Figurative-Abstract Dialogue

From September 22 to October 17, 2026, the Galerie de l'Europe in Paris will host a collective exhibition showcasing the works of sixteen painters and one sculptor, blending both abstract and figurative styles. The figurative pieces are categorized into five themes: interiors, cities, flowers, countryside, and dreams. Notable works include Couloumy’s depictions of family homes alongside Jeantet's blue fields, Wildner's peonies paired with Sèves's rain scenes, and Pontecorvo's large bicycle shadow. Among the abstract contributors are Jeantet, Barthelemy, and Sèves, who delve into color and shape. The exhibition highlights the interconnected heritage of both artistic styles. Visitors can attend from Tuesday to Saturday, 11am–1pm and 2pm–7pm, or by appointment; entry is free. Accessible via Métro Mabillon (10) or Odéon (4/10).
