Galeria Municipal do Porto Unveils Autumn 2026/Winter 2027 Programme with Three New Exhibitions
The Galeria Municipal do Porto has unveiled its programme for autumn 2026 and winter 2027, which includes three exhibitions along with a series of live performances, study sessions, discussions, and listening events. The season kicks off with the final weeks of summer exhibitions: Augustas Serapinas' Physical Culture: Porto Edition and Pia Camil's installation Sharing, both available until 18 October, while Lydia Ourahmane's For Voice will be on display until 25 October. On 11 November, the gallery will launch three new exhibitions, including Nightwood, the first institutional showcase by Leonor Parda. This exhibition, inspired by Djuna Barnes' novel, features new works that blend sculpture, video, and sound, utilizing found objects and materials such as steel, concrete, resins, and textiles, reflecting the internet's copy-paste culture. The announcement encompasses the entire season at the Porto location, with the public programme complementing the exhibitions.
