Fulton Market DesignDays 2026 Highlights: Ikon Revives Louis Kahn, Mohawk's Recycled Flooring, and More
Fulton Market DesignDays 2026 took over Chicago's West Loop with brand showrooms and pop-ups. Ikonstudio, a Teknion brand, debuted the first-ever contemporary production of Louis Kahn's Radbill Chair and Table (mid-1940s) and SOM's SOM79 chair (1979) by Charles Pfister. Mohawk Group showcased its Hero Rubber Made with Nike Grind flooring (AZ Award winner) and Soft Logic broadloom, plus an Ocean Garden carpet by autistic artist Eddie Li. Studio TK introduced Abri privacy lounges by Thom Fougere. Less Than a Truckload (by AZURE and Interface) featured emerging Chicago designers. Allsteel launched Levra task chair by ITO Design. Teknion and Formway unveiled Blink chair. Designtex showed Florette textile; Luum Textiles debuted Craft Work by Dorothy Cosonas; Maharam presented Jubilee by Hella Jongerius. Arper displayed Aom seating by Jean-Marie Massaud and Catifa (RE) 46. Humanscale presented Diffrient Lounge by Niels Diffrient.
