Fujifilm has unveiled the Fujinon XF400mm f/4.5 R LM OIS WR, a super-telephoto prime lens tailored for X-mount cameras, offering a 35mm full-frame equivalent focal length of 609mm. This lens is ideal for capturing fast-moving subjects, making it perfect for wildlife and motorsports photography. It is also compatible with Fujifilm's 1.4x and 2x teleconverters, allowing for focal lengths of 560mm and 800mm (equivalent to 853mm and 1,219mm in full-frame terms). Comprising 21 elements arranged in 14 groups, it has an aperture range from f/4.5 to f/22, weighs 1,245 grams, and is designed to resist dust and weather. The lens will be released in mid-September at a price of $3,199.95.
