Fujifilm Unveils Dedicated EVF and Remote App for GFX Eterna 55
Fujifilm has introduced the VF-GFXC2, an external electronic viewfinder (EVF) designed for the GFX Eterna 55 cinema camera. This device boasts a 2048×1536 pixel OLED display, reaching a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, and maintains a 4:3 aspect ratio. Its spacious eyecup effectively minimizes external light, enhancing focus and detail evaluation. The EVF adjusts its display features according to the brightness levels. This launch comes after a prototype was revealed at IBC in Amsterdam last year, with the VF-GFXC2 anticipated by the end of this year. John Blackwood, Fujifilm North America's Director of Brand & Product Marketing, emphasized the advantages of the viewfinder. Furthermore, Fujifilm has released the Eterna ProRemote app for iOS and iPadOS, allowing for wireless camera control, now available.
