French Artist Seth and American Photographer Martha Cooper Launch Third Collaborative Mural Project in Laos

French artist Seth and American photographer Martha Cooper have initiated their third international collaborative project in Laos, following previous work in Haiti and Kenya. Curated by Alisa Phommahaxay, the project ran from September to November 2025 in Luang Prabang and northern villages. The initiative involved participatory workshops with children in schools, a children's hospital, and public spaces, integrating local traditions like mask-making. The collaboration uses mural art as a tool for cultural transmission and social cohesion, documenting the process through photography to create collective memory.
