French Actress Isabelle Mergault Honored at Père-Lachaise Funeral Ceremony

He shared text messages exchanged during her final days, highlighting her humor and request that people not laugh at her funeral. Feminist activist Isabelle Alonso praised Mergault as a strong, independent woman with a joyful spirit. Actress Chantal Ladesou expressed how her absence leaves the comedy world devastated. Mergault will be buried at Montmartre Cemetery near her idol Sacha Guitry. The event marked the conclusion of a career spanning over four decades in French cinema and theater.
