exhibition · 2026-06-19

Located in Kochel am See, the Franz Marc Museum features artworks by Franz Marc along with his contemporaries, such as Paul Klee and Wassily Kandinsky. The museum, which was expanded in 2008, includes a Crailsheimer Muschelkalk structure that offers scenic views of Kochelsee. A special exhibition dedicated to Adolf Erbslöh (1881–1947) is available until July 26. This museum is part of the 'MuSeenLandschaft Expressionismus' network. Nearby, the Olaf Gulbransson Museum is hosting a ZERO movement exhibition until September 6, while the Museum Penzberg showcases 'Campendonk malt Blau' until June 28. In Bad Tölz, the Stadtmuseum features 'Fantasie in Farbe' until July 26. The Schusterhaus, which opened in 2024, was awarded the Bavarian Monument Protection Medal in 2025. The Tölzer Fluss-Film-Festival is scheduled for September 10–13, and the Herzogstandbahn cable car will be closed until the end of 2027.
