As of May 2026, Francesco Fonassi's sound installation, 'Gritar, No Caer,' is permanently located at Museion in Bolzano, Italy. This work stemmed from a 2025 expedition to Mexico's Zona del Silencio, a region noted for its electromagnetic anomalies, where Fonassi explored local myths with a mobile listening unit. Supported by the Italian Council 2024, the project is part of 'The Oracular Eavesdropper' and features visual documentation by Nata Failde. Following presentations in Mexico and Bologna, it was set up at Museion, where it projects sound into public spaces.
