Fran Silvestre Arquitectos Completes Bellavista 11, First Villa in Ibiza's The Roca Views

The first villa of The Roca Views project, named Bellavista 11, has been finished in Roca Lisa, located on Ibiza's eastern shore. Designed by Fran Silvestre Arquitectos from Valencia, this cluster of six homes features straight-edged forms and sleek white walls that reinterpret the island's classic architecture. A 15-centimetre thick white-concrete plane cascades down the hillside, creating roof terraces for the lower volumes and forming interior spaces. The layout consists of three low-profile sections: a garage and stairway at the top, a central social area, and a five-bedroom wing. The open-plan living area, adjacent to a swimming pool, and the bedroom wing, which overlooks a terrace, both feature large sliding glass doors. Silvestre conceptualized the design by questioning how to build on the hillside, leading to a continuous form that adapts to the terrain while providing shade and organizing the interior. He emphasized a blend of Mediterranean principles with modern construction techniques. The remaining five villas will maintain this minimalist aesthetic.
