Fortuny's Handcrafted Wallpaper Debuts, Frieze Abu Dhabi Lineup, and More
Fortuny, renowned for its Delphos dress, has unveiled its inaugural wallpaper collection in collaboration with San Patrignano, the largest drug rehabilitation center in Europe, through its Casa D'Arte initiative. This customizable range, which showcases effects like marble, lime wash, and embossed leather, reimagines Fortuny's historical prints and is set to launch at the Giudecca showroom in September, aligning with Homo Faber 2026. Since its inception in 1978, San Patrignano has aided over 26,000 individuals, achieving a 70% success rate in maintaining drug-free lives. Additionally, Frieze Abu Dhabi will take place from November 19-22 at Manarat Al Saadiyat, featuring 84 galleries from 63 cities across 36 countries. Kim Conaty has been appointed as the director of the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College, effective October 27, and the Tokyo Jazz Club will debut from November 1-8 during Art Week Tokyo.
