Fonds Bustamante Arles opens in former church with 'En miroirs' exhibition

In Arles, France, the former Sainte-Croix church has been transformed into the Fonds Bustamante Arles, a contemporary art venue redesigned by Charles Zana. The opening exhibition, titled 'En miroirs,' runs until October 30 and showcases the creations of approximately twenty artists, such as Rodney Graham, Günther Förg, Tatiana Trouvé, Jan Vercruysse, René Daniëls, and Anne-Marie Schneider. During the inauguration, which was attended by Arles mayor Patrick de Carolis, Jean-Marc Bustamante, born in Toulouse in 1952, highlighted the importance of supporting artists and upholding European values. The exhibition also features works by Gerhard Merz, Reinhard Mucha, Michael Buthe, Shervin/e Sheikh Rezaei, and Nicolas Schneider.
