Fondazione Enrico Castellani opens Milan archive with Luisa Lambri show
The Fondazione Enrico Castellani in Milan has exceptionally opened its archive to the public for the exhibition 'Luisa Lambri. Ipotesi di visione. Dialogo con Enrico Castellani', on view until June 10. The show pairs works by Castellani with photographs by Luisa Lambri, exploring a dialogue across generations. The archive began in the late 1990s and became a foundation in 2013. This is the first time the foundation has organized a dialogue with an artist from a different generation, departing from previous pairings with contemporaries like Carl Andre, Donald Judd, and Frank Stella. The installation, conceived with Lambri, emphasizes how her photographic investigation of space and light resonates with Castellani's relief surfaces, creating a new combined work.
