Fondation Taylor Shows Bronzes by Éric Vanel, Charcoals by Mathilde Du Mesnildot and Paintings by Jan K.
At its maison-atelier in the Nouvelle Athènes district of Paris, the Fondation Taylor closes the year with a three-person hang: bronzes by Éric Vanel, fusains by Mathilde Du Mesnildot and canvases by Jan K. The show runs from 26 November to 19 December 2026 at 1 rue La Bruyère, 75009, open Tuesday to Saturday, 13h–19h, closed on public holidays, with free entry. No commission is taken on sales; proceeds go entirely to the artists. Founded in 1844 by Baron Taylor and recognised as being of public utility in 1881, the Association des artistes remains one of the major mutual-aid houses between painters and sculptors, selecting three artists each month around a shared sensibility and building the hang with them. Vanel, a former mechanical engineering engineer, stretches bodies between ancient myth and the wild world. Du Mesnildot, winner of the 2026 Maxime Juan drawing prize, sets figures searching for one another through matter and light in vibrating, carnal charcoals. Jan K., self-taught, born in Bratislava and winner of the 2023 Franck Duminil prize, holds her paintings between figuration and abstraction. The hang is set at studio height.
