Fondation Beyeler Unveils Peter Zumthor Expansion Beside Renzo Piano Building
Peter Zumthor, an architect from Basel, has created three additional structures for the Fondation Beyeler, which are built adjacent to the existing museum designed by Renzo Piano. This expansion coincides with the introduction of new artworks displayed on the museum's grounds. The outdoor installations feature works by Louise Bourgeois, Pierre Huyghe, Rachel Whiteread, and Fujiko Nakaya. This initiative combines Zumthor's contemporary designs with Piano's original museum architecture at the same location.
