Florence Institute of Design International showcases student projects including women's wellbeing centre

The Florence Institute of Design International (FIDI) has presented a range of student interior design projects, featuring a women's wellbeing centre, a community hub for the elderly, and a digital detox centre. The projects were developed by BA Interior Design students as part of their final Design Research Project and Building Systems courses. Notable works include Almara by Emma Guerrieri, a mental health facility for women offering therapy, fitness, and childcare; Casa Tempo by Amisha Grewal, an intergenerational community space in Florence; and Pausa by Khadija Riad, a digital detox centre. Other projects include a community centre for food and culture by Frida Moberg, a kinesthetic arts centre by Jill Fehr, a retirement home by Kenzi Mowafy, a jewellery design academy by Lidwine Arco-Zinneberg, a family retreat by Nandini Kedia, an artist's hub by Renee Rainey, and a student living space by Vanshika Lalwani. The three-year BA (Hons) Interior Design programme is validated in collaboration with Goldsmiths, University of London, and emphasizes sustainable solutions and societal developments.
