Flexjet Opens First European Private Terminal at Farnborough Airport
Flexjet has inaugurated its inaugural private terminal in Europe at Farnborough Airport, costing $34 million. The facility spans 22,600 square feet and caters to passengers utilizing Flexjet's fleet of 350 private jets and helicopters. Created by Carber Hain Art + Design, the terminal showcases hexagonal wooden flooring, a central bar offering views of the airfield, a unique sculpture by David Springs, private meeting rooms, and a full-size Gulfstream G700 model. Chairman Kenn Ricci remarked, "Perception is reality," while CEO Michael Silvestro noted that each terminal will embody its location. Flexjet aims to establish 12 to 15 branded FBOs worldwide, with six currently in development. The terminal opened prior to its official launch, with Robb Report getting an exclusive preview.
