According to the local news outlet Amado Mundo, a 22-page document associated with Flavio Bolsonaro's presidential campaign suggested establishing a rare earths supply chain to lessen China's influence. Dated March 19 and composed in English, the presentation was created by Andre Marinho, a close associate of Flavio Bolsonaro, and shared with the Rockbridge Network, a consortium of affluent conservative benefactors initiated by J.D. Vance in 2019. The proposal aimed to facilitate rare earths trade and counter Beijing's power in return for backing Flavio's presidential aspirations, featuring the senator's logo. Marinho, who has a background in television impersonating Flavio's father, Jair Bolsonaro, stated on Saturday that he authored the document, asserting it was not presented to any U.S. official and was unrelated to Flavio's campaign. The report emerged on Saturday from Amado Mundo. Flavio Bolsonaro is currently regarded as the leading right-wing candidate in Brazil's upcoming presidential election next month.
