Five Free London Exhibitions: Daidō Moriyama, Jenkin van Zyl, George Shaw, Tanoa Sasraku, Ce Roser
This week, five free-entry exhibitions at commercial galleries in London are highlighted. At Hamiltons Gallery, Daidō Moriyama's show, running until 30 October, features ethereal black-and-white images from the 1960s, inspired by Andy Warhol. Jenkin van Zyl's Enclosure at Somerset House Studios, available until 29 November, offers a speculative sci-fi film installation exploring tourists who inhabit the bodies of others. Anthony Wilkinson Gallery hosts George Shaw's Albion Groans Part Two, on view until 7 November, showcasing small paintings that depict a bleak Coventry, symbolizing England's decline. Tanoa Sasraku's Tropical Ken at Vardaxoglou, which runs until 31 October, presents paper torsos reminiscent of warfare. Additionally, Ce Roser: Running With the Sun features works from 1961-2014, including Voyage Into Discovery, 1990, with illustrations courtesy of VeneKlasen, New York and London.
