Five Curators on Uzbekistan's Venice Pavilion 'The Aural Sea'

So, at the 61st Venice Biennale, there's this pavilion from Uzbekistan called 'The Aural Sea' that's being curated by a fantastic group of five women from the Bukhara Biennial Curatorial School: Sophie Mayuko Arni, Kamila Mukhitdinova, Nico Sun, Thái Hà, and Aziza Izamova. The exhibit takes cues from Allayar Darmenov's 2015 stories about a hopeful future for the Aral Sea in 2050, highlighting the area's resilience instead of just focusing on its struggles.
