Fictive Architects Unveils Terràvue Residence in Thanjavur, a 5,565 ft² Manifesto of Sustainable Luxury

Fictive Architects has completed Terràvue, a 5,565-square-foot residence in Thanjavur, India, with a projected architecture year of 2026. Curated by Miwa Negoro, the project occupies a corner plot bounded by streets to the north and west, and is positioned as a manifesto of sustainable luxury across its 517 square meters. The design rejects imported marble and synthetic paints in favor of local construction techniques, passive cooling, and a radical commitment to upcycling, drawing directly from the culturally rooted landscape of Thanjavur. Gopi Elangannan and Ramkumar Ravisankar served as principal architects. The project team included Veekay Electricals for electrical engineering, PR consultants for structural engineering, Releaf for landscape architecture, SKM Interiors for interior design, Vishwanathan Painting for services engineering, and Kumar & Team for civil engineering. Material suppliers were Kothari Marbles, Luker, SRV Ceramics, Saburi plywoods, and Tita. Photography was handled by Studio f/8, credited to Mr. Dinesh. The residence falls under the houses category and was submitted by the project team.
