Ferro Offices: Rotterdam's Industrial Port Building Transformed by GROUP A

Ferro Offices is a radical transformation of a former industrial headquarters in the Merwe-Vierhavens (M4H) port district of Rotterdam, originally built in 1969. Revitalized by architecture firm GROUP A for the Port of Rotterdam, the 8,250 m² building has become a future-proof multi-tenant workspace designed for innovators shaping tomorrow's port economy. The project combines adaptive reuse, contemporary architecture, and sustainable design strategies, demonstrating how old industrial port buildings can be reimagined as dynamic environments for innovation, work, and urban life. Key architects include Maarten van Bremen, Frank Deltrap, and Dennis Berger, with photography by Sebastian van Damme. The project was completed in 2025.
